A public lecture on consciousness: the capacity for perception and understanding, and is therefore the basis of any living thing. Since living things are not equal and have a great deal of variety, so too does consciousness: it has infinite potential for development, either towards the heights of perfection or towards the depths of degeneration.
Following the lecture, we will also participate in a short group meditation with the goal of putting theory to practice - uncovering for ourselves our own intrinsic nature.
If you're interested, then come join Room 7 at St Werburghs community center in Bristol. Donation based classes will run every Tuesday starting at 7:30pm
