ESE: Autism and Suicide Pilot (In Person) 2
An introduction to Suicide Prevention skills.
About this Event
Key objectives:
- To consider the attitudes, myths and stigma that surround suicide and autism.
- To be aware of how an autistic person may present signs of suicide.
- To understand how to start a safe conversation and ask about an individual’s thoughts of suicide.
- To learn how to support a safety plan with someone thinking of suicide.
Delivery Time: 3.5 Hours
This is a pilot session and so we will require participants to sign a waiver prior to attending to say that they agree to give feedback on the pilot in lieu of their free place. Please note that all content is subject to change following participant feedback.
