ESCON 2026
About this Event
The Electronics Sustainability Convention (ESCON) is a national, two-day, free-admission convention organized to promote the advocacy and awareness of the e-waste crisis. It brings together experts, advocates, industry leaders, and stakeholders to engage in meaningful discussions and activities that cultivate solutions to this pressing environmental challenge.
ESCON 2026 features five main events:
1. Symposium
The Keynote Presentations, Talks, and Forums of ESCON 2026 will feature 30- to 45-minute sessions focused on relevant and timely discussions surrounding electronics sustainability and e-waste management.
2. Roundtable Discussion
The Roundtable Discussion synthesizes the event’s insights into a collaborative workshop. This session invites professionals, experts, and stakeholders alongside community leaders eager to establish or expand their own local e-waste collection initiatives to develop a feasible, actionable framework for e-waste management.
3. Pitch Competition
A rapid pitch contest open to all high school and undergraduate students, showcasing innovative solutions to the current e-waste situation in the Philippines.
4. 3D E-Waste Upcycling Competition
A three-dimensional artwork contest open to all senior high school and undergraduate students, challenging participants to creatively reuse e-waste to create a free-standing 3D artwork.
5. Beneficiary Workshop
A collaborative workshop that facilitates knowledge transfer from community-based recyclers and seasoned repair experts as they guide participants through 1.5-hour training sessions to transform e-waste into finished, take-home products.
