Have you thought of starting your own company, joining a startup, or looking for a job in a big hot company? Maybe you are interested in getting involved in public health and engaging with the public to communicate your science, or perhaps you want to explore careers beyond becoming a professor or a PI. This is the right conference for you!
Join us for eSCAMPS, an exclusive one-day student-led conference, to explore the journey of leading scientists to their success stories. Co-organized by students at the Wellcome Sanger Institute, EMBL-EBI, and the University of Cambridge, this event combines keynote speakers, panel-led discussions, and speed-dating sessions to inspire your ‘Journey in Science and Enterprise.
We are excited to announce that we will be awarding monetary prizes for the best oral and poster presentations. Showcase your research and have the chance to win significant cash prizes and eSCAMPS merchandise.
Engage with a diverse group of professionals from various fields, ask them all the questions you might have, network, listen, or present your science, win cash prizes, and enjoy some light improv comedy. Light breakfast and lunch will be provided.

The day will commence with a Keynote speaker exploring their journeys through science and beyond.
The afternoon will be highlighted by a series of workshops and panels exploring scientific and endeavors. These workshops will consist of both academic, enterprise and non scientific representatives. This will give you the opportunity to hear well rounded discussions on how to drive change, have an impact or forge your own career.
Following our afternoon workshops, you will have the opportunity to hold further discussions with our panel representatives through a speed dating session.
Student Presentation Prizes
We will be awarding monetary prizes for the best oral and poster presentations.
Oral Presentation Prizes:
• 1st place: £200
• 2nd place: £100
Poster Presentation Prizes:
• 1st place: £50
• 2nd place: eSCAMPS merchandise
