MODERATOR AND AUTHOR BIOS:

Alex Land is an associate agent with Mad Woman Literary who is passionate about working with writers to amplify the heart of their stories. Alex loves collaboration and is excited about working with her clients to form sustainable, long-term careers in publishing. Alex has worked with New York Times Bestselling authors, Stonewall Honors recipients, and many other critically acclaimed authors on various projects. She’s always ready to root for and brag about all of her clients.

Erynne Rivers is a storyteller at heart with a lifelong passion for crafting tales that spark imagination and evoke strong emotions. A biracial Black author passionate about mental health chronic illness advocacy, most of her stories feature characters tackling hardships both inside and out. Above all else, she strives to create stories that make people feel seen by bringing her own fresh perspective to timeless themes, creating characters and worlds that feel both magical and authentic. Erynne currently calls the Pacific Northwest her home with her partner.

Stephanie Binx is a great big nerd who loves video games, ghost stories, romance, and morally gray villains. Born in Southern California, she traded sunshine for the misty woods of the Pacific Northwest, where she developed a fondness for all things spooky. Stephanie now calls Portland home, where she lives with her son, spouse, and their two needy cats. If she’s not writing, then she’s probably out backpacking with a loud dog by her side, or running a dungeon with her friends in the MMO du jour. She continues to only kind of use her degree in Broadcast Journalism, but she hopes her teachers are proud of her anyway. Stephanie is the author of Hellbound, an adult dark contemporary fantasy.
