HALIFAX! We are bringing you a special evening full of ERYKAH BADU’s music live @2037gottingen on April 10, 8pm. This is a Friday evening, don’t miss. It!! The band consists of musicians who are inspired by Soulquarians process of music creation.
Kamilah [from @tush.disco & @lilsis.ca ] will be showing us how it’s sung, accompanied by some of your favourite local singers — Jahmila Smith & Lindsay Misiner.
We’ll start the evening listening to albums from Erykah Badu. @dj_grimrock will be providing us with some vinyl love.
Then we watch the band improvise on some our favourite Badu songs, and lastly, the jam opens up. Soloists will be invited to the stage.
We will do this for two sets, celebrating the music of Erykah Badu and her collaborators.
Musicians and music lovers are invited to join us in this special night of music to listen, vibe and jam!
Free Admission, donations to musicians will be collected in cash only. If you want to secure seats come early, get a beverage or meal, say hello to the band.
