De koningin van de Amerikaanse neo-soul brengt op 14 oktober haar nieuwe liveconcept IMEHO naar Bozar. Eerder deze maand trapte Erykah Badu haar nieuwe wereldtournee af in Tokio, waar ze onder de titel An Intimate Experience with Erykah Badu voor het eerst dit bijzondere concept presenteerde. IMEHO is geen traditionele concertreeks, maar een intieme, grotendeels geïmproviseerde ervaring waarin stem, piano en percussie samensmelten. Samen met haar langdurige muzikale partner RC Williams bouwt Badu elke avond de voorstelling in realtime op, zonder vast script. Het is een artistiek alter ego waarbij elk concert uniek is en slechts één keer bestaat.

Plus tôt ce mois-ci, Erykah Badu a donné le coup d’envoi de sa nouvelle tournée mondiale à Tokyo, où elle a présenté pour la première fois ce concept unique sous le titre « An Intimate Experience with Erykah Badu ». IMEHO n’est pas une série de concerts traditionnelle, mais une expérience intime, en grande partie improvisée, où la voix, le piano et les percussions se fondent en un tout. Earlier this month, Erykah Badu kicked off her new world tour in Tokyo, where she presented this unique concept for the first time under the title 'An Intimate Experience with Erykah Badu'.
