Or maybe you just want to be able to talk about these topics openly with like-minded people?
I created Eros Reading Circle because I believe erotica nowadays is very misunderstood. Fast satisfaction is the preferred way on societal level. There are plenty of negative emotions – shame, guilt, low self worth – attached to the topic of pleasure in the collective and also on the individual level.
The past few years I dedicated to self-exploration and the broadening of my horizon when it comes to the depths of pleasure.
Eros Reading Circle is not just about reading.
It’s also about reflecting.
Exchanging ideas.
Allowing perspective shifts.
Learning.
Expanding.
Our readings explore erotica, pleasure, tantra, ecstasy, desire and the polarity of masculine and feminine energies. Some sessions focus on men, others on women, and some on pleasure as a whole.
We gather every month in a cozy tearoom in the heart of Prague (near I.P. Pavlova).

You don’t need to join every time. You can attend only one session or more – each time we will cover a different topic.

We don’t read full books. When you book your spot, you will receive an email with the text for the upcoming circle and 2-3 reflection prompts.
We usually cover one chapter, 10 to 30 pages (written in English). You are asked to read the chapter before the session.

EVENT AGENDA:
- gathering & aligning on our agreements to establish a safe space
- introduction circle
- short guided meditation / somatic practice related to the topic
- sharing circle: we share our impression of the reading one by one
- 5 minutes break
- free discussion: free flow conversation related to the book
- closing circle: everyone shares their key takeaway from the event

GROUP AGREEMENTS - PLEASE READ BEFORE JOINING:
1. Registration closes at 10am on the day of the event. No drop ins after. Please don't come if you didn't sign up.
2. Please arrive on time (max. 5-10 minutes delay allowed with notice)
3. Please only come if you at least partially read the chapter for the event.
4. Everything is an invitation, nothing is mandatory.
5. Come as you are — all feelings are welcome. Each person is responsible for their own feelings and reactions.
6. Confidentiality: Please don’t share anything outside the circle that isn’t your own experience, and don’t mention others in an identifiable way during or after the circle.
7. Respect: Please always use respectful language, avoid disrespectful generalizations and don't interrupt others.
8. No phone policy: Please refrain from using your phone during the circle. You can do so before and after the event or during the break.
9. No self-promotion: Please note that self-promotion, advertising or inviting people to your (free or paid) platforms, events or services is not part of this space.
