Erika Angell
« Swedish vocalist and composer Erika Angell has spent the past two decades in the avant-garde music scenes of Stockholm from 2004 and Montréal from 2012. Across sixteen independently produced albums and innumerable collaborations, Angell has been a poetic and audacious force in genre-defying music.
Her primary projects include the Polaris-nominated art-rock group Thus Owls, the New Music trio Beatings Are In The Body and more recently solo performances under her own name.
Her voice has been described as “a guiding presence” (Exclaim) that “sits alongside the greatest indie female artists who are not afraid of anything” (Le Devoir).
Angell has released her debut solo album, The Obsession With Her Voice, on Constellation in March 2024, an electroacoustic work of unfettered vocal exploration and expressionist avant-electronic composition. »

Roldophe Coster will make us the honour to open for her that night.
« Multidisciplinary artist and legendary activist from the Brussels scene, Rodolphe Coster has already lived several lives, several deaths and as many resurrections. Last year he released an album named « High With The People » on Capitane Records.
The album recorded at the legendary Studio G in Brooklyn was produced by Matt Jones of Male Gaze and brings together a dream team including Jeff Tobias (Sunwatchers), Sarah Register (Lou Reed, Kim Gordon, Depeche Mode, Protomartyr), Atsuko Hatano, (Jim O ' rourke) and Maya Postepski (Princess Century, Austra, The Organ) among others. Sleeve art work is a creation of Ukawa Naohiro.
The result is a cold and irreverent rock, free from all shackles and oozing the rage to live through every pore.The album got good press in US and UK, the BAND just had a frst US / East Coast and Canada Tour featuring members of North Carolina punk band PAINT FUMES including FME Festival and TV EYE in New York. On the side of this BAND project, Rodolphe worked on some acoustic-electronic versions of « High With The People », inspired by HTRK, Fennesz and Sparklehorse.
This solo already performed in Brussels, London and Paris and Japan, Rodolphe Coster was part of several artistic collectives and rock bands and worked a lot as a composer and performer for contemporary dance projects that made him travel all around the world. It was during these trips that he met the collaborators who form his current entourage. Last June Rodolphe played ten concerts in all Japan to promote High With The People, and her played at Ittre, in the prison, front of 15 long term condamned ( 8 to 20 years) prisoners.
During the last 5 years, the Brussels artist has been able to perform in Canada, Europe, the United States and Japan and notably opened for Black Dice, Grimes, Saul Williams, Molly Nilsson, Liars, Italia 90, and his new friends bar italia. »
