Arizona Blues Hall of Famer Eric Ramsey, a dynamic and engaging performer, is set to grace the stage at ASU Kerr. An International Blues Challenge winner and Memphis Cigar Box Guitar Award recipient for outstanding guitarist in the Solo/Duo Category, Eric is a three-time champion of the Phoenix Blues Society's Blues Showdown and a two-time finalist at the Telluride Blues Challenge.
With a style that ranges from delicate fingerpicking to raucous, bluesy bottleneck slide, Eric's original compositions are both thought-provoking and reflective of his musical influences.
A favorite on the folk, Americana and blues festival circuits, he's also known for his open tuning and slide guitar workshops.
