Eric Bibb is a legendary figure in blues and roots music, with a career spanning five decades and over 40 albums. Nominated for three Grammys and multiple Blues Foundation awards, his music transcends genres, blending folk, blues, and contemporary sounds. Born into a family of activists, with his father Leon Bibb involved in the civil rights movement, Eric’s upbringing influenced his socially conscious music. His 2023 album Ridin’, inspired by the painting A Ride for Liberty, earned a Grammy nomination. Bibb reflects on his journey with questions like, “Am I the change I long to see?” His music, filled with truth and unity, offers a powerful voice in today’s divisive world.
