Join us for our annual, free, inter-congregational Erev S'lihot Participatory Concert on Saturday, Sep. 28, at 7:45 pm in Society Hill Synagogue's social hall (418 Spruce St., Philadelphia). This moving evening of music and reflection will feature performances by talented clergy and musicians from Society Hill Synagogue, Temple Beth Zion-Beth Israel, and Leyv Ha-Ir.
Participating clergy include Hazzan Jessi Roemer, Rabbi Nathan Kamesar, Kohenet Avra Shapiro, Rabbi Julie Greenberg, Rabbi Abi Weber, and Rabbi Abe Friedman.
Accompanied by Asher Kahn on guitar, Eve Friedman on flute, Larry Goldfinger on clarinet, Arthur Fischman on keyboard, Daniel Johnson on percussion, and Sue Frank on dumbek, the concert will set the tone for the High Holidays.
Join us afterward for coffee and dessert.
