ERC Starting and Consolidator Grant Writing Sprint
About this Event
The Research Development Office's ERC Funding Specialists are running an interactive, face-to-face workshop and writing sprint for applicants to the upcoming Starting Grant (14/10/26) and Consolidator Grant (12/01/27) calls.
Carve out some time from your busy schedule and beat the fear of the blank page!
Agenda:
09:30-10:00: Coffee and welcome
10:00-13.00: Interactive writing workshop
Attendees will have the opportunity to participate in practical exercises to design and draft key elements of the research proposal:
- Articulating research objectives
- Ground breaking nature & feasibility
- Risks & outcomes
- CV & track record
13:00-14:00: Lunch
14:00-16:00 (optional): Free writing time
ERC funding specialists will be on hand to answer any questions as you work on your application.
After registration, TCD researchers and staff will be sent a calendar invite with an agenda and location details on the TCD main campus. Please note this is an interactive, in-person event, so it will not be possible to join remotely.
Please indicate at least 2 weeks before the event date if you have any access requirements, such as ISL/English interpreting, so that we can facilitate you in attending this event.
