Equus' Rescue Readers

The goal of Rescue Readers is to provide a fun, safe, un-intimidating environment to a become confident reader, thus improving literacy and social skills. Our rescued horses will love the attention! This program is in partnership with the Millstadt Library, who will be providing books along with a craft activity! We will have snacks and refreshments.

Our address is 8743 LePere School Road, Millstadt, IL. Upon arrival, you will proceed down the rock driveway to the second barn. The first barn is closed to visitors for the time being.

Some things to remember:

- Parental supervision is required.

- No feeding of treats - little fingers look a lot like carrots!

- Bring a chair!

- This event is 100% free, but donations are graciously accepted!

- We have a bathroom in the front barn, but, it is definitely farm-style. Consider a potty break on the way to the farm!
