Equipment & Irrigation Tour and Workday at Open Petal Farm

Join us on Tuesday 16th at Johnson County Community College's Open Petal farm to participate in a hands-on irrigation and small farm tools workshop. Led by campus farm manager and Sustainable Agriculture instructor, Claire Zimmermann, participants will have a chance to learn about making small farm tool and irrigation decisions that fit their farms, and have an opportunity to use, and interact with different tools, and irrigation setups.

JCCC is home to the Sustainable Agriculture Certificate program. Designed to be a 1 year program, students study local and sustainable food systems, and participate in a full year of farm management.
