Equinox World Chant Celebration - Gina Salā with Anil Prasad & Band

Celebrate the Fall Equinox and move into the new cycle in an uplifting evening of kirtan, world chants, rhythm, story and community with Global Vocalist Gina Salā and her wonderul band. Through simple call-and-response chants and shared song, woven with meditative moments, gentle movement and inspiring stories, we’ll celebrate the turning of the season and reconnect with balance, joy and one another.

Gina is pleased to be joined by tabla Virtuoso Anil Prasad, and Robert Hinrix (bass/vocals), Andrea Carino (flute/mandolin, vocals), and Aureole Lopez Shulman (vocals).

No singing or chanting experience needed. All are welcome—no particular beliefs or skills required. Come as you are: sing, listen, move, or simply receive and enjoy being together in warm-hearted community.

Gina Salā is global vocalist, composer, chant leader and teacher. Her repertoire spans 23 languages and performance credits include Cirque du Soleil, the United Nations, festivals and more. She has been chanting since her early childhood ashram years with Swami Sivananda Radha and deepened her practices in a Nepal monastary and with her advaita (HWL Poonjaji aka Papaji), Sanskrit (Vagish Shastriji) and Dhrupad (Pt Ritwik Sanjalji) gurujis as well as other teachers and guides from around the world. www.ginasala.com
