Experience the world through the eyes of a horse
On Thursday, July 23 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., the Museum will debut a one-of-a-kind new exhibition, Equine Eyes, during a free open house event. Equine Eyes is an interactive, research-driven exhibit designed by Dr. Alan Hook of Ulster University that simulates how horses perceive the world. Utilizing a specially developed headset with mounted cameras, the Equine Eyes experience provides visitors with an immersive visual and sensory perspective of equine vision. The exhibition is funded in part through the support of a grant from the Thoroughbred Education Research Foundation (TERF).
