PLEASE NOTE: This event is only for TurningPoint patients.Do you love animals? Back by popular demand! Join us this fall in an outdoor class that will show the benefit of working with horses. Research supports the benefits of equine assisted therapy in improving overall emotional and physical well-being in breast cancer survivors. This event will be focused on establishing a human-horse relationship, as well as engaging in activities that combine the benefits of physical activities with psychological benefits derived from interaction between humans and animals.
Come join us at a beautiful stable near Buckhead*. No prior horse experience required. Please wear sturdy closed-toe shoes (tennis shoes are fine), a hat and/or sunglasses; long pants or jeans would be preferred. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
Class size is very limited. If event reaches full capacity and you would like to be added to our waitlist, please send an email to Arelis Cortes at [email protected].
*All participants will be asked to sign a liability release form in order to participate.
**This program is open to current and former TurningPoint patients.
