Spy Coast Farm is excited to announce a new family friendly community outreach event called EquiConnect: Community Equine Day! This event will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2024, from 1-5 p.m. at the Spy Coast Farm Equine Education Center and is open to the public. This opportunity will connect the local community to resources available within the equine industry.
There will be a free community meal, hands-on learning activities, live horse demonstrations and local non-profit organizations and companies will have tables set up to provide information about resources they can offer.
Objectives of the EquiConnect: Community Equine Day include:
•Connecting the local community to the Central Kentucky equine industry and local community resources
•Educating the local community to equine related resources related to therapy, education and workforce development
•Showcasing potential equine industry career pathways for employment within the industry
