To celebrate upcoming International Women's Day 2023, we invite you to join us to for an EQUI TEA Afternoon High Tea with Ada's Tribe founders and members. Ada's Tribe aims to build an inclusive community to support Women to grow in Analytics, Data Science & AI (ADA). Inspired by Ada Lovelace, Ada's Tribe focuses on supporting leadership and career development of those identifying as women in ADA related careers.

and as two of the founders of Ada's Tribe, are passionate about connecting and developing women in Analytics, Data Science & AI (ADA) fields.

Catherine is a thought leader and strategist with over 25 years’ experience in data, analytics, and AI. As Chief Data and Analytics Officer at Merkle ANZ, Catherine's recent focus is on helping organizations to improve their customer experience and uplift business performances empowered by Data, Analytics and Cloud. Catherine serves on multiple boards for Government and Universities, and is an entrepreneur in Analytics and AI. In 2005, Catherine was awarded a doctorate degree in data mining, machine learning and computer science at Monash University where she won the Mollie Holman Doctoral Medal for her PhD thesis, ‘Machine Learning and Time Series Forecasting’.

Bienna is an international strategist, technologist and investment professional passionate about the intersection of technology and society with a focus on Responsible Technology. Bienna combines experience from multinational corporations and advanced technology investments, to guide organisations and individuals to thrive in a rapidly changing world. Bienna has led Investment Management at Breakthrough Victoria, Corporate Strategy Asia Pacific at Bosch, established Robert Bosch Venture capital and mentored start-up founders. Bienna is a CFA Charterholder, Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and holds a Master of Applied Cybernetics with a focus on AI-enabled systems, and Bachelor of Commerce.

EQUI TEA (Equity) is what we would like everyone to enjoy in the theme of Embrace Equity for International Women's Day. This intimate event over Afternoon High Tea is intended for those identifying as women to network and connect with other women with an interest in ADA fields.

Dress code: Your style of relaxed and elegant

Refund Policy: Due to needing to confirm numbers with the venue, we can only offer a refund (less associated booking fee costs) for requests up to 2 days before the event. In the case of event cancellation, ticketholders will receive a full refund. This event has been priced at the cost charged to us for High Tea plus booking fees.

COVID Safe: We request for safety that you do not attend the event if you have any COVID-19 symptoms, including fever, cough, or gastro-intestinal issues; have been diagnosed with COVID-19, or had direct contact with an individual diagnosed with or suspected to have COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Although we may not be able to offer a refund with less than 2 days notice before the event, please let us know if you are unable to attend so we can explore available options including transfer of tickets.
