To test the students ideas, to reveal their talent in front of the whole school and prepare them for tremor competitions, SYMMETRIC BAFSK SCIENCE CLUB IS ARRANGING AN INTRA-SCHOOL SCIENCE COMPETITION FOR THE SECOND TIME. The event will be launched with 13 interesting segments. So what are you waiting for? Take part and present your talent in front of the whole school!

Details-
WALL MAGAZINE EXHIBITION
• Open for all
• Each team will contain a maximum of two participants.
• The subject will have to be science based.
• Minimum size: 5 feet by 3 feet
• Each participant can register for more than one wall magazine.
• A participant must attach his/her complete identity to the wall magazine.

PROJECT DISPLAY
• Open for all
• The Project display must be based on science.
• Each team will contain a maximum of three participants.
• The participants will need to bring their all electric appliances and devices like Laptop, Multi-plug etc.

• A person is allowed to submit more than one scrapbook.

~ART MASTER
Category: Secondary (Classes 6 - 10)
•This event will occur in two rounds.
Round:1-Written round
Round:2-Drawing round
•Round-1
~An abstract art piece will be shown and questions about the abstract will be provided. Participants will have to answer the questions. Time limit - 30 minutes.
•Round-2
Round-2 will begin right after passing Round-1. In this round, participants will have to draw what they have written in round-1 by themselves. They will have to express their answers through their artwork. Time limit: 2.5 hours
• Page will be given. If participants need any other kind of paper or canvas, they must bring it.
• Participants will have to bring their necessary equipment for drawing.

HUNT THE HIDDEN
• Open for all
• This is a team-based segment. Each team will consist of 3 members. Any students of classes 6-10 are applicable for this event. Any students of the same class can team up.
• There will be two rounds-
•Preliminary round
~The preliminary round will be a written test. The team members would have to solve the riddles and problems.
~30 minutes will be provided for the preliminary round.
~The top 5 scoring teams will advance to the final round.
•Final round
~The final round is the main attraction. The final round will be an open-campus round. Each team will be given a set of riddles. They will have to solve the riddles and thus gather clues to the location of the objects/instruments hidden in certain spots in the campus. The participants will have to solve the puzzle by completing all of their given tasks. A specific time limit will be set for each of the tasks. Each of the teams would be provided a Unicode for tracking. Any kind of cheating or adoption of unfair means, if detected, will result in immediate disqualification for the whole team.

CRIMINAL IDENTIFICATION
• Open for all
This is a brainstorming event of catching the real guilty by analyzing a bunch of hints. Contestants have to participate in only one round. Few critical questions will be given with clues hidden in it. They have to find the criminal by using their intelligence and intellectuality.
• Contestants must explain the reason for their thoughts.
• Mobile or any other electronic devices are strictly forbidden.
• Participants must follow laws and discipline or they will be disqualified.

EXTEMPORE SPEECH

•Rules and Procedures:
~Contestants must report in the selected place at least 15 minutes before the competition.
~Contestants will be given their topics according to the lottery.
~They will be given 5 minutes for self preparation.
~Another 5 minutes will be given to describe their destined topic.
~Cell phones or other electronic devices are forbidden in the hall.
~Contestants have to deliver speech in the standardized form of language.
~Contestants must maintain discipline or they will be disqualified.

CHESS

Get ready to showcase your strategic thinking and chess skills!
• Participants must arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of their match.
• Electronic devices, including cell phones, are strictly prohibited.
• Opponents will be selected by lottery.
• Each participant will be provided with a chess board and pieces for their matches.
• A chess clock will be added if the match duration is longer than 20 minutes.
• Rules will be provided prior to each match.
• Participants must maintain proper decorum and respect towards their opponents and tournament officials.
• Cheating is strictly prohibited and will result in immediate disqualification.
• Tournament officials reserve the right to make any necessary changes to the rules or schedule.
• The decision of the judges will be final.

RUBIX CUBE COMPETITION

• Spot Registration will be available.
• Participants will have to bring their own cubes.
• Time will be given for inspection.
• There will be 2 or more rounds depending on the number of participants
• If someone's cube pops he/she may fix that popped part during his solve and complete their solve (timer will be running while fixing the popped part)

SCIENTIFIC MEME CONTEST

• The meme must be science-related. It can be about any scientific field, from biology to physics to chemistry, and anything in between.
• Your meme must be original and created by you. Please don't submit any plagiarized or stolen content, as it will result in disqualification from the contest.
• Everyone can submit a maximum of 5 memes, if someone attempts to do more, they will be disqualified.
