We celebrate 5 years of our vision and passion and we are proud to reach this milestone. EpiPalooza is more than raising money, more than raising awareness; we are about creating an environment for inclusivity. Helping those that live with Epilepsy understand they are not alone, as they navigate the world. Over the years, I’ve learned that Epilepsy and its side effects cross over so many boundaries. It’s not just Epilepsy, we are here for everyone.
We are excited to partner with CURE Epilepsy, the leading non-governmental funder of Epilepsy research in the world. By giving to CURE Epilepsy, you help fund critical research and advance their mission of finding a cure for Epilepsy.
Local Charlotte resident, Matt Perrone was diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of 16. In 2019, after his daughter had her first seizure at the age 4 yr. old, he knew he had to give back to the community and held the first EpiPalooza concert. While his daughter struggled for the next year with 9 more, she has now been seizure free for over 2 and a half years thanks to diet and medication. Matt has been fortunate to be seizure free for over 31 years.
