Join us for an informative community program designed to increase understanding of epilepsy and how to support those affected.
This event is free and open to the public and is ideal for community members, caregivers, and anyone interested in learning more about epilepsy.
Gain valuable knowledge about:
• What epilepsy is and key definitions
• What different types of seizures can look like
• Basic seizure first-aid and how to respond safely
• Resources for epilepsy care and support
Meet the Presenter:
Nicholas Zendler, DO, Adult Epileptologist, Munson Medical Center
Dr. Zendler is passionate about helping patients navigate an epilepsy diagnosis, develop effective treatment plans, and feel reassured that treatment options are available. He takes a holistic approach to care, recognizing that wellness includes physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Presented in partnership with the Traverse District Library, the program will be held in the McGuire Community Room at the library, 610 Woodmere Ave., Traverse City.
