About this Event

Target Audience: Adult Education providers, NGOs, community groups, and practitioners looking to expand into Europe.

The Mission

With the October 1st Erasmus+ KA1 deadline fast approaching, EPALE NSS Ireland and Léargas are joining forces to turn project ideas into reality. This isn't just another presentation—it is a hands-on design lab.

The goal is simple: ensure every attendee leaves with the technical setup, the European connections, and the project logic required to submit a high-quality application for Adult Education staff and learner mobility.

What to Expect
Step 1: Technical Empowerment (EPALE Walkthrough)

We kick off the morning with a "live-action" deep dive into the EPALE platform. Instead of just showing slides, we will navigate the tools in real time.

  • Partner Search: Learn how to filter through thousands of European organizations to find your perfect match.
  • The Erasmus+ Space: See how to manage your project prep in a secure, digital environment.
  • Visibility: We’ll help you refine your organisation’s profile to make you an attractive partner for European colleagues.

Step 2: The KA1 Masterclass (With Jemma Lee, Léargas)

From 11:00 AM, the focus shifts to the Erasmus+ Key Action 1 (KA1) application. You will be guided through the strategic "heavy lifting" required for the October deadline:

  • Project Logic: How to align your organisation’s internal needs with European mobility goals.
  • Activity Design: Deciding between opportunities such as job shadowing or training courses for your team, or learning experiences for your adult learners themselves.
  • The Quality Standard: Tips on drafting a narrative that demonstrates inclusion, digital transformation, environmental sustainability and civic engagement.

Step 3: Real-Time Co-Design

The final portion of the day is a working clinic. Attendees will have the opportunity to pitch their project ideas to the EPALE and Léargas team, receiving immediate feedback and troubleshooting help to ensure their application is robust.

Key Outcomes
  • A Project Skeleton: A drafted "Project Logic" to take back to your team.
  • Active Connections: Your first steps in finding a European partner via EPALE.
  • Expert Guidance: Direct access to the National Support Service and the National Agency.

Note to Attendees: Please bring a laptop or tablet and ensure you have your Organisation ID (OID) or login details for EPALE ready to go. We are here to build your project with you, in real time.
