EPA Cooking Demonstration Volunteer / Voluntario de demostración de cocina

Join us at the farmers' market to support our VeggieRx Cooking Demonstrations: help us show community members how to eat more fresh fruits & veggies with tasty, culturally-relevant recipes! And for folks who attend one of our demos, they will receive VeggieRx Fruit & Vegetable Vouchers to purchase fruits and veggies to try making the recipe at home.

Volunteers will assist with demonstration set-up and clean-up, lead activities, hand out educational materials, and take pictures for social media. To volunteer at a nutrition demonstration, we ask that you are comfortable with public speaking and have reliable transportation to and from the location. It is not required, but a bonus if you speak both English and Spanish!

Location: East Palo Alto Community Farmers' Market at Bloomhouse (2555 Pulgas Ave. East Palo Alto)

Y para las personas que asistan a una de nuestras demostraciones, recibirán vales de frutas y verduras VeggieRx para comprar frutas y verduras para probar la receta en casa.
