EP Roundtable: Navigating LARE and Licensure

Join us for the first installment of our new Emerging Professionals Roundtable Series, designed to create space for early and mid-career landscape architects, as well as students, to connect, learn, and discuss topics relevant to professional growth.

Our inaugural session will focus on the licensure journey. Through a moderated conversation, panelists will share their experiences preparing for and navigating the LARE, balancing exam preparation with work and personal commitments, and overcoming challenges along the way.

Two panelists have recently completed the licensure process, while a third will offer the perspective of becoming licensed in another state. Our panelists also work across a variety of geographic contexts and economic sectors, providing a range of experiences and insights.

Following the discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with the panelists during an open Q&A.

Whether you are just beginning to think about licensure, actively taking exams, or looking for strategies to stay motivated, this conversation is intended to provide practical advice and encouragement from those who have recently navigated the process themselves.

Food and refreshments will be provided, and attendees will be eligible for licensure-related raffle prizes.

This event marks the launch of what we hope will become an ongoing series of conversations for Emerging Professionals. We hope you'll join us as we build a community for sharing experiences, asking questions, and supporting one another throughout our careers.
