Environmental Justice Meeting

The City is inviting you, as a member of a select group of residents from specific neighborhoods, to participate in a General Plan Focus Group. We want to hear from you about the issues your community faces and your ideas for how to give all residents of Rancho Cordova access to a safe and healthy environment. Please join us on October 8, 2024, from 5:30-7pm. This is the first of several meetings to gather feedback and foster an open dialogue about the future of equity and environmental justice throughout Rancho Cordova.

The City of Rancho Cordova is updating its General Plan, which establishes a vision for the future of the city and contains policies to guide how the city will grow and change over the next 20-25 years. The General Plan will have a new chapter dedicated to environmental justice. Environmental justice means that all community members, regardless of their identity or where they live, have a chance to live in a healthy environment.
