Prof. Dr. Newton M. Campos is the Founder and Managing Partner of Newton Equity Partners, a firm at the forefront of global Search Fund investments. With over 20 years of experience in Small Business Entrepreneurship, Private Equity, and Venture Capital, Newton blends a robust academic foundation, including a PhD in Entrepreneurship and roles teaching and researching at top global business schools with extensive hands-on investment expertise.
He holds a doctorate in Business Administration from FGV EAESP, an MBA from IE Business School and IIM-Cal Indian Institute of Management Calcutta, a bachelor's degree in accounting from PUC-SP and a technician degree in information technology from ORT.
His specialties include business development, strategic leadership, entrepreneurship, blended education, distance education, educational technology, emerging markets, emerging economies, Brazil, teaching, conferencing, innovation development, frugal innovation, private equity, venture capital, angel investment, search fund, acceleration and incubation.
