Join us for a focused review session designed to help HPD candidates understand the written exam format and strengthen test-taking skills.

Registration is required, but this event is FREE!

The Honolulu Police Department’s Recruitment and Exams Unit is pleased to offer a Written Exam Preparation Program designed to assist candidates in preparing for the entry level written examination.

This program will provide an overview of the written exam format, review sample question types, and offer general test taking strategies to help you feel more confident on test day. Topics may include reading comprehension, writing skills, basic grammar and spelling, and problem solving. Candidates will also have an opportunity to ask questions regarding the written exam process.

Participation in this program is strictly voluntary and does not guarantee a passing score on the written exam. However, candidates are strongly encouraged to participate to better familiarize themselves with the expectations and structure of the assessment.
