Enter the Tsone & Party 14.00-22.30 @ Stoa Theater Hall
🔸 HIPHOP 1 vs 1 & 7 to smoke
In the hiphop battle, dancers get 45 minutes of cypher time to get down and show what they got. The judge panel will be watching the cyphers closely, choosing 16 dancers to make it through to the hiphop battles. The top 16 hiphop battles are 1 vs. 1, and after that the 8 remaining dancers will meet each other in a 7 to smoke battle. The winner of the battle will receive a hand-made trophy by Batemies, a money prize of 150 €, and a copy of The Oxford Handbook of Hiphop Dance Studies!

You do not have to pre-register to the battle. To enter, buy a ticket, show up, and join the cyphers.
🔸 ALL STYLES audition cypher & creative process
After the hiphop preselection, the dancers get to keep dancing. The next 45 minutes serve a new purpose: the cypher becomes an audition. During this part, the music range is wider, and possibly more experimental in order to bring out a wider range of expression.
2-4 dancers will be picked from the audition cyphers to join a rapid creative process: the dancers get to be a part of a new freestyle-based performance, but there’s a twist. The piece will be created, rehearsed, and performed during the event! We are looking for dancers with strong foundations and freestyle ability in street and club dance styles, and a captivating stage presence. A true playground – and a rare paid (150 € per dancer) opportunity for street & club dancers.

🔸 ALL STYLES Tsone stage
The Tsone stage is open for all dancers and groups who want to take their shot of winning a cash prize. We do it like the street performers did back in the days: the goal is to entertain in order to bag that money. Create a performance that wows the crowd, since the crowd will be voting on who gets money. No fire, explosives, or chemicals. Other than that, use your imagination!
There is room for 5 performances and the spots will be filled in registration order. Registration to the showcase category starts on Monday 22.12.

Like in any self-respecting street & club dance event, we will party! But this time, the party is in the same room, right after the other stuff. Dance your heart out AND sleep well. Win win!
