Enter the Mugwort Portal
A Full-Moon Plant Journey + Eco-Printing Workshop
Monday, October 26, 2026
5:30–8:30 PM
1813 Brackett Ave, Eau Claire, WI
$75 per person • Space is limited
(scholarships available)
As autumn draws us inward and the veil between worlds grows thin, mugwort invites us to slow down - to listen beneath the noise of everyday life and reconnect with the quieter currents moving within us.
Under October’s full moon, we will gather in community for an immersive evening of plant connection, inner exploration, and hands-on creativity.
Mugwort has long been associated with dreaming, transition, intuition, and the unseen. She can be an ally when we find ourselves at a threshold: harvesting what has ripened, releasing what has completed its season, and listening for what is ready to come through next.
Without the pressure of extracting answers from ourselves or searching for one more thing to chase… This is an invitation to become more comfortable with your own knowing - to make space for your own individual needs, desires, truths, and visions to emerge in their own time… but you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we will enter the mugwort portal.
The evening
We will begin by welcoming you as you arrive by gently grounding you with an energetic brushing with mugwort. Once gathered, we will share introductions with one another and the plant that brought us together.
Kerri will share mugwort’s medicinal traditions, seasonal wisdom, and her relationship with this powerful plant ally. Through breathwork, guided visualization, journaling, and intuitive sketching, she will lead us into an inner dreamscape - a place where the conscious and unconscious may begin to meet.
Brooke will guide us through the living alchemy of eco-printing. Using mugwort, each participant will create a naturally printed piece of organic cotton to carry home as an altar cloth or wearable reminder of the journey.
A warm mugwort drink will accompany our time together, inviting another layer of sensory relationship with the plant.
There will be room for silence, creative exploration, reflection, and optional sharing. You do not have to arrive with a particular question, artistic ability, or experience with plant medicine. Your willingness to slow down and listen is all that is requested. We are here to support you.
What we will explore
- Mugwort’s medicinal qualities, traditional uses, and seasonal teachings
- The full moon as a moment of illumination, culmination, and release
- Guided meditation, breathwork, visualization, journaling, and intuitive sketching
- Creativity as a way of listening, processing, and transforming
- Eco-printing with mugwort
- The dreamer within us and the meeting place of the conscious and unconscious
- What becomes available when we feel supported, witnessed, and accepted in community
You will leave with
- Your own mugwort eco-printed organic cotton cloth (for your altar or to wear)
- A deeper experiential relationship with mugwort
- Medicinal and traditional plant knowledge
- Reflections and creative traces from your inner journey
- Practices you can return to during seasons of change
- The nourishment of having gathered, made, listened, and dreamed alongside others
This gathering is for you if…
You are moving through a time of transition, change, or becoming.
You feel called to deepen your relationship with plants, dreams, creativity, or your own intuitive knowing.
You are longing for a space where you can slow down without needing to produce, perform, or explain yourself.
You want to make something beautiful with your hands while also tending the less visible parts of your life.
You are craving meaningful community and the experience of exploring alongside others - without surrendering the uniqueness of your own path.
Your guides
Kerri Kiernan is a Master Herbalist, plant educator, artist and intuitive whose work invites people into direct, embodied relationship with the plants growing around them. Her offerings weave medicinal knowledge with sensory experience, seasonal awareness, creativity, and practices of inner listening.
Brooke is a natural dyer and the creator of Sown of the Earth. Through botanical printing and hands-on creative practice, she helps people encounter plants not simply as materials, but as collaborators whose forms, pigments, and stories can be carried into cloth.
Exchange
$75 per person
Your registration includes the full three-hour facilitated experience, herbal and creative instruction, guided inner practices, a warm mugwort drink and everything needed to create your eco-printed cloth. Bonus: extra mugwort to take home!
