Entangled Intelligences

This special event brings together an extraordinary lineup of speakers and performers exploring the frontiers of interspecies intelligence.
About this Event

How will our rapidly deepening interactions with non-human constituencies — from the biological to the synthetic — change how we understand what intelligence is?

Featuring David Eagleman, Aishwarya Khanduja, Jaron Lanier, Michael Levin, Sara Imari Walker, and Claire Isabel Webb with David Gruber, Sasha Stiles, and Keith Yamashita.

On stage, we'll travel from microscopic and ecosystemic to agentic and exoplanetary to examine intelligence as the emergent property shared across these systems, and explore how new interspecies ecologies are emerging.

Long Now has partnered with the creative team at Waving to make this an memorable night of curiosity, cross-disciplinary connection, and catalysts for new paths of exploration. Don't miss it.

Presented in partnership with the John Templeton Foundation.
