Speaker bio: Tamyra Horst is an international author, popular speaker, and leader with a passion for God’s Word and sharing Him with others. She desires to encourage, equip, and challenge people to grow deeply in their relationship with God and learn to serve Him uniquely with their passion and talents. She is the author of ten books, including “Teach Us to Pray,” “Enough: Discovering a God Who is Enough When You’re Not,” and two “Praying Like Crazy . . .” books. Her books have been published in English, Spanish, Portuguese, German, Bulgarian, and Romanian.
While her primary role at the Pennsylvania Conference is serving as Communication Director, she also adds Women’s and Family Ministries, as well as the Columbia Union Women’s Ministries Director, to her areas of ministry.
She and her husband, Tim, have been married for over forty years. They have two incredible sons, two amazing daughters-in-law, and the most beautiful granddaughter ever. They live at the foot of the Blue Mountains outside Hamburg, Pa., which gives them many opportunities to hike the Appalachian Trail and bike the Schuylkill River Trail.
