Wanda Landowska (1879-1959) was one of the most successful keyboard artists of her time and the one woman force-of-nature who brought the harpsichord back to the concert stage. Chick Strand (1931-2009) was an experimental filmmaker known for her personal approach to anthropological subjects, her skillful optical printing, and her creative use of found footage in a variety of projects. You probably already know about Georgia O'Keeffe (1887-1986), she was a painter. Why are these three artists on the same program? Why not?
