ENLIGHTENMENT: Poetry Reading Night

Hi, it’s Vanessa, your ENLIGHTENMENT host.

April is National Poetry Month, so we’re turning the salon into a one-night-only underground poetry cafe. No berets required or bongo drums required. Just a love of poetry and no fear of reading it aloud,

The Mission: Bring one or a couple of poems you really love. It can be a classic, a song lyric, something you found on Instagram, or even something you wrote. Read your pick and tell us why it sticks with you.

Afterwards, we’ll try our hand at some "Blackout Poetry" using old newspapers, magazines and Sharpies.

Tickets are $5 to cover salon costs. Light refreshments provided; BYOB encouraged.
