Paul uses a mix of positional and gendered role terms. His programs, deeply satisfying to dancers and musicians alike, are informed by a keen musical sense, decades of dancing, and careful attention to the standards of his mentor Fried de Metz Herman. October 8 being his and Faina’s wedding anniversary, Paul will most certainly program some of his–no,make that Faina’s–favorite dances!

**Covid Safety**
Starting this season, we are no longer requiring proof of vaccination because of the evolving nature of vaccines, combined with the logistical hurdle of monitoring vaccination status at the door. We highly encourage everyone to get vaccinated and stay up to date on their boosters. Getting the latest booster is one of the best ways to protect yourself from serious illness and to help keep your communities safe.
We are continually monitoring the status of COVID in NYC. In order to accommodate differing risk tolerances among our membership, we are alternating Mask Optional and Mask Required events. Please check the Season Calendar’s details on cdny.org, where masking requirements are spelled out on a per-event basis.
Please don’t attend if you feel sick or if you were in close contact with someone who tested positive for COVID within the past week. If you do test positive for COVID within a week of attending one of our dances, please let us know by emailing [email protected].
