Learn the art of English Paper Piecing for quilting with textile artist Liane Ging. English Paper Piecing, or EPP, is the traditional technique of folding fabric over paper templates and hand sewing these together. In this workshop, you will learn how to cut, glue and sew your pieces together. You will explore different colours and patterns and shown some of the possibilities this technique allows for quilting. At the end of the session, you will take home a six-pointed star.
All materials provided
This workshop is ideal for complete beginners. The cost of the workshop is £35. Refreshments are provided, however if you have any specific dietary requirements or intolerances it is advised to bring your own.
The workshop is deliberately kept small to ensure that one to one tuition can be provided. The workshop must be paid in full when booking and it is non-refundable or transferable. The workshop is upstairs above Face Facts Aesthetics on Park View.
