English country dance & contra workshop

An event to celebrate traditional anglo-American dance and raise awareness of the role of the Country Dance & Song Society (CDSS) in promoting it.
Some or all dance sessions will feature live music by Pamela Weems (piano), Max Cappleman (fiddle) and Joel Hobbs (mandolin).
The United Campus Ministry chapel is a beautiful, spacious venue with wooden floors and excellent acoustics.
SCHEDULE (tentative)
10:00 am - noon English country dancing
Noon - 1:30 pm Lunch and discussion
1:30 pm - 3:00 pm Mixed ECD/contra
3:00 pm - 4:30 pm Contra
Details regarding requested donations and lunch plans to be announced soon.
Organized by TAADA (Traditional Austin Area Dance Association), San Antonio Contra Dancers, English Dance S.A. and CDSS.
