English Connect Classes - Walnut and Carey

English Connect is a free English learning program offered through the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, designed to help people build confidence in speaking, reading, and understanding English in a supportive, faith-centered environment.Classes are small, friendly, and focused on conversation - so learners practice real-life English they can use at work, school, and in their communities. There are different levels: English Connect 1 and English Connect 2 - making it accessible whether you're just starting or looking to improve your fluency.One of the best parts: It's not just about language - it's about connection. Participants build friendships, strengthen self reliance, and grow in confidence together.If you or someone you know wants to improve their English in a welcoming space, English Connect is a great place to start.Classes are held on Sundays (except for Palm Sunday and Easter) from 3 to 4:15 PM.Enter on the south side of the building by the park. The classroom is the first door on the right as you enter the building. Someone will be there to register you at no cost.
