Kleinhans Music Hall is pleased to welcome Cody Paige as part of the National Geographic Live Speaker Series 2026. Take an adventure to places on Earth that mimic the moon: from a zero-gravity aircraft making parabolic loops to remote islands that serve as testing grounds for next-gen technologies. We get a behind-the-scenes look at the newest robotics as engineer and National Geographic Explorer Cody Paige builds the technologies that might allow humans to create a lasting presence beyond Earth.
About Cody Paige
Cody Paige is the director of the Space Exploration Initiative at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Media Lab. Her Ph.D. research focused on enabling a permanent human presence on the moon through the development of wearable radiation shielding material and a virtual-reality platform for geological surface exploration. She is passionate about inspiring the next generation of outer space scientists and engineers, so she started the MIT Zero-G Outreach Initiative for local middle school students.
