Laptops will be provided to scholars during classroom instruction ONLY
STEM Saturday Program includes Graphic Animation and Design, Video Games Design and Development, and Software Development - Creating and Designing Various Mobile Apps, and Financial Literacy!
DESCRIPTION: At the end of this "HANDS-ON" STEM Saturday Program, students will be introduced to basic video game terminology such as Elements of Game Design, sprites, objects, and create and design in-class and at home video games. In the Animation component, kids will learn various animation techniques, storytelling principles, and character design. They will develop a strong foundation in animation, exploring the art of movement and timing to create dynamic and visually appealing animated videos. This Saturday STEM Program will address financial education standards and increase student engagement with new interactive elements. In addition, campers will gain an understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle, Careers Within the Software Development Career Path, and creating and designing their OWN mobile applications during this camp.
