Engaging Young People through Effective Group Work

Active Essex Foundation are excited to announce the first of our collaborations with Essex Youth Service. Quality training relevant to your work delivered by local youth work professionals.
This interactive day will explore the importance of group membership and the principles of effective group work in working with young people.
Learners will:
- Understand the importance of group membership.
- Understand group work theory.
- Understand the appropriate use of leadership styles within groups.
- Understand how to manage conflict in a group work setting.
There is an option to undertake additional work to turn your learning into a recognised qualification, or this course can be taken as a bite sized learning event.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Prompt start at 10:00am. Please arrive to register at 9:45am.
Please note we now have a cancellation policy should you be unable to attend a booked training course with us.
Your organisation will be charged £25 should you not attend the course. If you cannot make the course, or circumstances change, you must let us know less 48 hours prior to the session.
