The Mayor’s Office for Nonprofit Services (MONS) is excited to invite you to "Engaging Community Voices: A Listening Tour of NYC Nonprofits." This initiative is designed to directly engage with nonprofit leaders across the five boroughs, gather their insights, and strengthen collaboration between nonprofits and city officials.

Through this listening tour, we aim to better understand the unique challenges and opportunities that nonprofits face in various parts of the city. The feedback and insights gathered will inform city policy with a focus on equity, capacity building, and enhanced support for the nonprofit sector.

Agenda:

10:00 AM - 10:10 AM: Welcome Remarks by Johnny Celestin, Executive Director

10:10 AM - 10:30 AM: Overview of NYC Nonprofit Landscape

10:30 AM - 11:00 AM: Discussion on Sector Challenges and Opportunities

11:00 AM - 11:20 AM: Interactive Session - Gathering Insights from Participants

11:20 AM - 11:30 AM: Closing Remarks and Next Steps

Why Attend? Your participation is vital to helping us understand the pressing needs of NYC's nonprofits. By joining, you will have the opportunity to share your experiences, offer feedback, and contribute to developing actionable strategies to enhance the support available to nonprofit organizations in New York City. Together, we can strengthen partnerships and foster greater collaboration in advancing equity across the sector.
