ENGAGE Grand Final 2026

We are delighted to invite you to the ENGAGE 2026 Grand Final annually hosted by the UCD School of Biomolecular and Biomedical Science which will take place on Wednesday 15th of April 2026 at 5pm in the Moore Auditorium in the UCD O'Brien Centre for Science, followed by food and drink.

We warmly invite the public, along with your friends, family, and colleagues, to join us for an inspiring showcase. Come and be both entertained and informed by clear, jargon-free presentations and poster competition that bring the world of biomedical science to life.

The preliminary rounds will take place on March 19th @10:00 in the Conway Institute, Seminar Rooms 1&2 which Students and staff are welcome to support. Eighteen PhD students on our school's Public Science Communication module, led by Dr Craig Slattery, compete for a place in the ENGAGE Grand Final. The students are challenged to present their research to a public, non-specialist audience in a clear and effective way.
