Glenwood High School will be hosting a Symposium focussing on diversity, social cohesion, and nation-building. The main focus of the topic is empowering the youth through open, honest conversation and mutual understanding and bringing to the attention of everyone present in the seminar the importance, practices, and setbacks of the above-mentioned topic.The guest speakers are:
• Glynis Horning is an award-winning freelance.
• Dr. Siphwe is a psychologist.
• Geraldine Pillay-Viret is a 2004 Olympian, Speed and agility developer (Sprint Coach). Head of Transformation, Diversity, and Inclusion at St Benedicts College in Bedfordview.
• Bradley Woolridge – executive director of Burns Acutt.
• Darrin Samuels – managing director of the Samuels Group.
• Naretha Pretorius – campus head of Vega School, Durban
• Varsity College - speaker on social justice.
The seminar will take place at the Glenwood High School Mvinjelwa Johannes Mhlongo Hall
