Engineering ECAN EoY Celebration & ECA Awards Ceremony | UNSW
Dear all UNSW Eng ECAs,
We would like to invite you and the rest of your academic cohort to join us at the Eng ECAN End-of-Year Celebration Event on November 24th in the Courtyard of AGSM to recognise and celebrate the achievements of our early career academics in the faculty and to allow ECAs to connect with senior academics!
Food and drinks will be provided. Limited spots are available, so please book your place here.
We will announce winners of the 2025 Engineering ECA Awards in the ceremony session. These awards aim to acknowledge the unsung heroes and often under-celebrated work done in the background by ECAs. The three categories are as follows:
1. Social Impact Award
This category recognises exemplary actions from ECAs towards social causes that benefit people and communities inside and outside UNSW.
2. Academic Excellence Award * 2 (Research / Education)
This category recognises ECAs who strive to build healthy and world-class academic environments in two subcategories, with separate awards for outstanding achievements in Research and Education.
3. Innovation and Engagement Award
This category recognises ECAs' audacious and innovative actions towards knowledge exchange and collaboration.
4. Collegial Commitment Award (open to non-ECAs)
This category recognises those who consistently provide a strong foundation of guidance and collegial support, helping Early Career Academics navigate their academic journey.
Each award will include a $1,000 prize as a token of appreciation for the recipients' contributions to the Faculty.
