About this Event
Producing Renewable Natural Gas from Landfill Gas
Landfills might not be glamorous, but the energy hidden inside them is transforming the future. Join Christian for a fascinating look at how landfill gas—produced naturally as organic waste breaks down—is captured and converted into Renewable Natural Gas (RNG), a promising clean-energy resource.
The talk will explore how landfill gas is formed, what it’s made of, and why those ingredients make it such a powerful feedstock for RNG production. Christian will walk through the full journey from raw biogas to refined, pipeline‑ready RNG, highlighting the key processing steps, technologies, and equipment that make it possible.
The talk also dives into the big-picture impact: how RNG reduces greenhouse gas emissions, supports sustainability goals, and turns an environmental challenge into a renewable energy opportunity.
If you’re curious about clean energy, climate solutions, or the innovative engineering behind waste‑to‑fuel systems, this session will be a compelling and eye‑opening deep dive.
