Concerned about the cost of staying warm this winter?Join one of our free, friendly drop-in events for soup and personalised energy saving tips to help our community save energy, money and the planet.
Right now, we're seeing significant wastage of energy through heating at a time when staggering energy bills will become unaffordable for many households - made even worse by upcoming energy price cap increases. Our Energy Saving Surgeries will bring people together to build knowledge and practical skills about energy saving measures, as well as offering personalised advice to community members.
What to expect:
- Free soup and good chat!
- Personalised energy advice with an expert from HEAT
- Support to access energy schemes and/or energy efficiency improvements e.g. Warm Home Discount, ECO funding
- Other support relating to fuel costs and financial barriers (e.g. benefits eligibility checks and fuel vouchers)
