We get so many questions, which made us realize their is a need to know more about energy, where it comes from, how it's utilized and how it effects our lives.Join the inaugural event in our Energy Matters Conversations series from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM on Monday, October 6, 2025. These informal gatherings are open to anyone interested in renewable energy, its environmental impact, and the reliability of our electricity supply. We will discuss our energy future, share insights, and learn from one another in a relaxed and informal setting. No expertise or deep knowledge is required. Bring your questions!
The topic of this kickoff event is California’s plan for decarbonizing its electrical grid and the role the Coachella Valley plays in achieving its goals. Dr. Thomas Spiglanin, our Director of Education, will moderate the session.
The events are free and will be held at Palm Springs Windmill Tours, located at 62950 20th Ave. in Palm Springs, just north of Interstate 10, about one mile west of Indian Canyon.
