About this Event
October 26 | 9 AM – 3 PM | Charleston Southern University
The next generation is growing up in a time when Christianity is not seen as the solution, but as the problem. In an age of hot takes, this generation of high school students is faced with social media posts attacking Christianity, school curriculum presenting theories competing with God’s word, and friends abandoning their faith. At this year’s conference for high school students, Drs. Jeff Wallace and Ross Parker, along with CSU’s College of Christian Studies professors, will respond to the most prevalent critiques of Christianity. High school students will be equipped to respond biblically to these critiques and challenged to share the hope of the Gospel to a generation looking for a solution to the problems of this age!

Keynote Speakers:

Dr. Jeff Wallace is an urban ministry pioneer, innovator, and mentor. He served as Pastor of Youth Development at Peace Baptist Church for 23 years and later Executive Pastor. Jeff has authored several empowering resources for youth leaders, parents, and students, including co-authoring "Everybody's Urban" and "Urban LIVE curriculum." He enjoys life with his wife Quovadis and three son.

Dr. Ross Parker serves as Associate Professor of Christian Studies at CSU. He has been on faculty at CSU since 2014, teaching classes in Christian Philosophy, Ethics, Worldview, and Apologetics.
